CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aspen Dental Management, Inc. (ADMI), one of the largest and fastest-growing dental support organizations (DSO) in the U.S., announced today that Abhinav Shukla is joining the company as chief operating officer (COO).
Shukla joins ADMI from True Value Company, an iconic brand in hardware retail, where he most recently served as COO and was responsible for merchandising, pricing, and integrated global supply chain management. He also oversaw True Value’s paint manufacturing division and its proprietary brands and True Value’s omni-channel offerings. During his tenure at True Value, he led large, multi-location teams of almost 2,000 associates who served more than 4,400 retailer locations in 60 countries.

Prior to True Value, Shukla was a consultant for global consulting firm AlixPartners, where he led strategic and operational transformation initiatives at several Fortune 500 companies focused on growth, profitability and higher shareholder returns. He was the co-founder / CEO of AlphaHarvest Capital, a New York-based investment management firm, and served as a Principal at Druker Capital. Shukla began his career with international roles at Global 500 companies followed by consulting stints at McKinsey & Co. and The Boston Consulting Group.
Shukla is a CFA Charterholder, and has a master's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. Over the past ten years he has served on the Board of Directors of several national nonprofits and industry associations and spoken at leading industry events and conferences as a speaker, moderator and keynote panelist.
