The expansion comes on the heels of the Austin-based startup’s $30 million Series B investment round in February 2019.
Marking the beginning of its multi-city growth plans, the company is tapping into one of the top tech talent pools in the nation. The strategic Denver location confirms ScaleFactor’s commitment to empowering small business owners by consolidating complex back-office operations into one platform to create an intuitive “business OS.”
“It was in Denver where I worked as a CFO and where I first identified the problems that motivated me to launch ScaleFactor,” said Kurt Rathmann, CEO and founder of ScaleFactor. “Denver has evolved into a tech mecca, and we are excited to return to the roots of the company and be a part of the city’s booming market.”
ScaleFactor’s Denver office is located on the 24th floor of the 1801 California building situated in the heart of the Central Business District. Other tenants in the building include Sendgrid, Ibotta, and Greenhouse.io.
ScaleFactor is currently building out its team in Denver, hiring for product and engineering positions, with future plans to expand its sales team before the end of 2019.
