TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Synaptive Medical, a global pioneer in automated surgical planning and robotics, today announced the appointment of Sandra Clarke, CPA, CMA as Chief Financial Officer.

Ms. Clarke joins Synaptive Medical with decades of experience in financial management and operations, having led a variety of small-to-mid-sized companies. Before joining Synaptive Medical, Ms. Clarke ran finance and operations, including all aspects of strategic decision support, at Architech, a software development company. Appointed to Chief Financial Officer in 2015, she successfully led the company through international expansion and domestic growth by implementing various financial and operation controls and process improvements.
Prior to her time at Architech, Ms. Clarke served as a Principal at SOLV Consulting, where she counseled numerous multi-billion-dollar companies on financial management and operations. During her time there, she was appointed Chief Financial Officer to The Second Cup, a publicly operated coffee chain. Earlier in her career, she worked as Chief Financial Officer of The Canadian Press, where she led all strategic decision-making and spearheaded a successful restructuring of the company. After graduation, Ms. Clarke held numerous finance positions at Grand & Toy, Manpower and Bell Canada. Ms. Clarke earned her Bachelor of Business Administration and Accounting degree from Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada and holds a CPA designation.
