SPRINGFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Health New England is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors. Joining the Board are Robert Bacon, James Conlon and William Webber.

Robert Bacon is president of Elm Electrical, Inc., an electrical engineering and construction company located in Westfield, Massachusetts. Bacon serves as Vice Chair of the Baystate Health Board of Trustees, chairs the Baystate Health Board Strategy Committee and is a member of several key Baystate Board committees. Previously, Bacon served as trustee and Chair of the Noble Hospital Board of Trustees. Bacon is an alumnus of the Senior Executive Program at Columbia University and has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England University.
James Conlon is the retired owner of J.F. Conlon & Associates, Inc., an independent Employee Benefits and Financial Services agency in Amherst, Massachusetts. Previously, Conlon worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts, where he served in a number of field and leadership positions, including Regional Director of the Springfield and Worcester offices. Conlon brings 40 years of experience in the health care insurance industry to his board position. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and earned distinction as a Certified Health Consultant from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. Conlon has served on a number of local boards in the community and held various leadership positions throughout his career.
William Webber of Andover, Massachusetts is a retired partner of Ernst & Young, LLP. Webber is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Association of CPAs. He is a member of the Baystate Health Board of Trustees and serves on the Baystate Board Audit and Compliance Committee. Webber has 32 years of experience serving clients in the health care and insurance industries throughout New England. Webber attended Bowdoin College and earned a Master of Science Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University.
