Insight School of Indiana Now Enrolling for the 2019-2020 School Year

INDIANAPOLIS--()--Insight School of Indiana (ISIN), an online public charter school, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2019-2020 school year. Authorized by Ball State University, ISIN is open tuition-free to students in grades 7 through 12 who reside in Indiana.

Built on the understanding that many students face unique challenges, ISIN provides students with the academic, emotional, and social supports needed to succeed in high school and beyond. ISIN combines online instruction and the support of experienced teachers to provide a personalized learning experience for students of every ability level at an appropriate pace for their learning style.

“ISIN students enroll for a variety of reasons. Some have struggled academically, some feel unsafe at brick-and-mortar schools, and others have personal or medical issues that are best supported by the ability to attend an online school at home,” says Head of School Elizabeth Lamey. “Our learning platform and our dedicated staff support their unique needs and set them up for future success. No matter the circumstances, our approach can help students succeed and thrive.”

ISIN’s Family Academic Support Team (FAST) empowers students to overcome challenges in and outside of class. Staff members connect students with community-based resources, when necessary, for social and personal needs.

The online school at home learning environment gives students the flexibility to spend more time with the subjects and lessons where they need additional support and advance more quickly in areas where they excel. Teachers communicate regularly with families via email, phone and in one-to-one online meetings. And certain state-mandated classes are required, just like any brick-and-mortar school in Indiana.

High school students can plan for the future with college workshops and career readiness counseling. To foster a sense of school community beyond the virtual classroom, students have the opportunity throughout the year to meet for in-person field trips and social gatherings. Graduates earn a high school diploma and are celebrated at an annual in-person ceremony each spring.

Enrollment is now open for the 2019-2020 school year. Students and families are encouraged to attend an online information session, or in-person event hosted by the school. More information on ISIN, how to enroll, and a schedule of upcoming events can be found at in.insightschools.net.
