SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advancing Women in Product (AWIP), the organization empowering quality female and male tech leaders through equality of opportunity, is launching the first season of its podcast, Masters of Product. The series will showcase the career journey of women and other underrepresented groups in the tech industry, and serve as a resource for career development.
“Our podcast focuses on sharing the stories of women and other groups in tech that continue to be underrepresented at every stage of the talent pipeline,” said Nancy Wang, CEO of AWIP. “By sharing their stories, we will not only showcase their value and talent, but also empower and inspire others in the tech community to advocate for diversity through the adequate access to education, training and mentorship.”
The podcast co-hosts are Kirtana Rajan, Engineering Program Manager at Apple, and David Cheng, Director of Content at AWIP and Vice President at DCM (also Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree). The series Masters of Product will debut with the launch of four episodes and will feature guests such as Nancy Wang, CEO of AWIP; Tatyana Mamut, Ph.D., former GM of AWS and Vice President of Product at Salesforce; Mada Seghete, Co-Founder of Branch; Arum Kang, CEO of Coffee Meets Bagel; Vanessa Larco, Partner at New Enterprise Associates (NEA), among many others. Following the launch, episodes will be released on a bi-weekly basis for the remainder of the season.
AWIP is dedicated to empowering more women and underrepresented groups to become leaders in tech by providing skills-based training, executive mentorship, and networking opportunities.
