This is the third time in the past year that Forbes has recognized Granite for its exceptional workplace environment. To compile the Best Employers for Diversity list, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey 50,000 Americans. Respondents were consulted anonymously and asked about their companies’ age, ethnic and gender composition, as well as the programs they offer to foster an inclusive work environment. Companies were evaluated on four criteria: direct recommendations, indirect recommendations, diversity among top executives and boards, and diversity key performance indicators.
