WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Applied Insight, a market leader in solving complex technology challenges for federal government customers, announced today it has been appraised at CMMI Maturity Level 3 for Development from the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration.

The appraisal recognizes the quality of AI’s software and systems engineering processes that are used to deliver on its mission to better enable collaboration and decision-making through technology. It also builds upon the company’s 2018 appraisal at Maturity Level 3 for Services, and affirms its comprehensive DevOps solution.

CMMI for Development is an integrated set of best practices that improves an organization’s ability to develop quality technology products and services that meet the needs of customers and end users. It is considered a global standard for efficiency. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes — which are described in standards, procedures, tools and methods — are well characterized and understood.
The appraisal was conducted by Advanced Network Technology Solutions Inc. in partnership with Bob Pomietto, Applied Insight’s senior quality assurance engineering and process manager and long-standing CMMI model developer.
