SpotSee Promotes Dale Glen to Vice President of Supply Chain

DALLAS--()--SpotSee, a global leader in shock, vibration and temperature monitoring through low-cost connectivity and data, has promoted Dale Glen from director of supply chain to vice president of supply chain.

In this role, Glen is responsible for directing and coordinating supply chain processes, procurement, production and resource planning. He will be responsible for costs, personnel and the implementation of company policies as they apply to supply chain management. Other direct responsibilities include enforcing safety standards, managing customer demand, developing tools and processes, establishing supplier relationships and being a strong leader for his team.

Glen has more than 24 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, plant management and supply chain optimization. His growth from a production supervisor to spearheading the implementation of solutions throughout an entire supply chain is indicative of Glen’s constant drive for growth and success. Throughout his career, Glen has been credited with improving the quality of products, reducing large amounts of manufacturing waste, increasing overall production, greatly reducing hazard incidents and has demonstrated strong budgeting skills. He is also known for his history as a results-driven leader, his ability to streamline operations and his track record of safety. Additionally, he has earned several industry certifications including a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.

Before starting at SpotSee in 2012, Glen was a materials manager at General Cable Corporation. While there, he was responsible for materials flow, scheduling, inventory, purchasing, distribution and customer satisfaction. Previously, Glen was a manufacturing manager for Gepco and ISOTEC. He worked at ISOTEC for 13 years in multiple positions including plant manager and shift production supervisor before transitioning to Gepco.
