MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--USA Technologies (NASDAQ:USAT) ("USAT") a premier digital payment, consumer engagement and logistics service provider for the self-service retail market, and CSC ServiceWorks, Inc. (“CSC”), an industry leader in commercial laundry solutions and air vending services, today announced the completion of an ePort Supply Agreement. Through the agreement, USAT will equip CSC’s air vending machines with USAT’s state-of-the-art ePort Connect cashless technology platform and upgrade the technology on other machines.
CSC is a leading provider of home and commercial laundry solutions as well as tire inflation and vacuum vending services at convenience stores and gas stations with over one million machines in service throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Through the partnership, CSC and its client base as well as its millions of end user consumers will benefit from the reliability and security of USAT’s industry-leading ePort cashless payment system on its machines, designed to enable CSC and its clients to increase revenues while significantly improving the consumer experience.
“We are thrilled to partner with CSC,” said Stephen P. Herbert, Chief Executive Officer, USA Technologies. “As like-minded companies, we are both focused on not only innovating our industries, but are backed by a long history of product and service excellence - USAT for cashless and connected technology (IoT) for the unattended retail space, and CSC in the vended air and vacuum systems space. We believe that our collaboration will enable both of our companies to not only capture additional market share, but help unattended merchants benefit from the power of enterprise connectivity.”
“As a business, we are focused on expanding our innovation and industry leadership by leveraging technology through our connected machine strategy and delivering the ensuing benefits for our clients and consumers to continue to obtain best-in-class experiences,” said Taylor Doggett, Executive Vice President of Field Technology at CSC ServiceWorks.
“Our partnership with USAT will enable us to increase machine uptime and efficiency for greater customer satisfaction, in addition to making it more convenient and reliable for consumers to pay using their credit or debit card and mobile wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay.” said Najdat Haydar, Vice President of Procurement and Supply Chain at CSC ServiceWorks.
