STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PDC Brands (“PDC” or the “Company”), a global beauty and wellness company, announced today that Matthew Wagner has been appointed General Counsel. Mr. Wagner will hold responsibility for all legal matters for the Company and will report directly to James Stammer, Chief Executive Officer of PDC Brands.

Mr. Wagner brings over 20 years of experience in private practice, focused on intellectual property, federal litigation, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance, to PDC Brands. Prior to joining the Company, Wagner served most recently as a Partner at the Stamford-based law firm Diserio Martin where he chaired the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Additionally, Wagner is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), where he is currently a member of the Board of Directors and immediate past-chair of the Copyright Law Committee. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. Wagner served as Non-Executive Secretary to the Company’s Board of Directors as Outside Counsel and will continue to do so as General Counsel.

Mr. Wagner resides in Southport, Connecticut with his family. He has served on Fairfield’s Town Plan and Zoning Commission since 2009 of which he has been Chairman since 2013.
