WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GetWellNetwork, the Precision Engagement health care company reaching 10 million patients annually, announced today a pivotal 2018 which will propel the company into 2019 as it continues to lead the evolution of patient engagement. The company furthered global expansion efforts, made several executive hires and acquired leading digital health company HealthLoop to catalyze growth in the ambulatory space.
GetWellNetwork’s rapid growth reflects increasing global demand for patient engagement solutions that not only meet the needs of today’s digital consumers but support cross-continuum care by better connecting patients, families and providers anytime, anywhere. Its recent acquisition of HealthLoop expands the company’s reach to over 700 health care organizations. Rebranded GetWell Loop, the solution will help organizations fill the gaps between care settings, creating a seamless patient experience from pre- to post-care.
“Care delivery models are changing rapidly and patients today are expecting more personalized and consumer-like experiences regardless of the care setting, condition or stage of the patient journey they’re in,” said Michael O’Neil, founder and CEO, GetWellNetwork. “We’re proud to be the strategic patient engagement partner of choice for leading providers around the globe, enabling an end that ultimately leads to happier, healthier patients and families.”

Nazir Rostom returned to GetWellNetwork as chief financial officer from RLJ Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ: RLJE) and former HealthLoop CEO Todd Johnson joined the executive team as senior vice president, ambulatory solutions.
Following the expansion of its leadership team, the company embarked on a thoughtful restructuring that aligned the clinical team and the company’s client services organization to assure client success. The year was also marked by significant client momentum both in the U.S. and internationally, touting new clients and deployments in United Arab Emirates and Ireland.
