SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Alfresco, a leading open source provider of process automation, content management, and information governance software, has announced the appointment of Steve Buonaiuto as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Buonaiuto will help drive the company’s growth and support all strategic and operational initiatives across the global business. With more than 30 years of executive management experience, Steve will lead corporate financial strategy, accounting and IT at Alfresco.
Buonaiuto was most recently CFO of Digital Guardian, a late-stage venture company, where he brought rigor and process to the company’s financial systems. Before Digital Guardian, Buonaiuto served as CFO and Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Sparta Systems, where he managed the company through a successful exit.

Prior to Sparta Systems, Steve held several leadership roles at CA Technologies, including senior vice president of product development and marketing operations, CFO of EMEA, and CFO of global services. Steve also worked at Oracle as their VP of North America consulting operations.
