SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Even (even.com), the financial wellness company committed to ending the paycheck-to-paycheck cycle, announced that Kelly Breslin Wright, one of Tableau’s (NYSE:DATA) first hires and their former Executive Vice President of Sales, has joined the company as its first independent member of the Board of Directors. In addition, Aaron Levie, CEO of Box (NYSE:BOX), is also joining Even as an investor.
Aaron Levie, CEO of Box: “The opportunity in front of Even to transform financial wellness is massive, and it's incredibly exciting to see their adoption and uptake by early employers. What the team at Even has already accomplished is awesome, and I'm extremely confident in their ability to continue to modernize banking and finance for the digital age."
Kelly Breslin Wright comes to Even with more than 25 years experience in leadership, sales, operations, and strategy. The company’s decision to onboard Wright was driven by her ability to lead an organization through multiple stages of growth, including IPO and global expansion, and her experience working with Fortune 500 companies.
Jon Schlossberg, CEO of Even: “Kelly’s experience is a perfect match for where Even is as a company right now. Because of the overwhelmingly positive results from our partnership with Walmart, we are now swimming in inbound interest from Fortune 500 employers -- and we need to learn how to swim, quickly. This perfectly maps to Kelly’s role leading sales and field operations at Tableau. Her expertise in working with and selling to enterprise companies will be invaluable as we expand with new partners to improve the financial health of millions of people across the country.”
Wright is an experienced Board member with a track record of driving companies to best leverage technology, data, and the cloud to emerge as leaders in their industries. She currently serves as a Board Director for Fastly and Amperity. She is also a board advisor for data.world.
She started building a reputation as an architect and leader of world-class enterprise sales organizations as one of the first hires at Tableau Software in 2005. Wright built Tableau’s sales organization from the ground up. She worked at Tableau for 12 years, leading global field operations as the Executive Vice President, Sales, helping to grow the company into a multi-billion-dollar global public company with thousands of employees.
Kelly Breslin Wright, Even Board of Directors: “Even has a phenomenal team, is on track for substantial growth, and is already making a significant positive impact on people. Most importantly, I love the company’s mission to help busy people master their money and achieve financial well-being. I feel this is a unique opportunity to work with a team driven to help people achieve financial health. Even offers an attractive offering for companies interested in investing in their employees’ financial success and wellness.”
Wright is a dynamic public speaker and active mentor and advisor, holding volunteer positions at her alma mater Stanford University and at the University of Washington. She is active in initiatives to promote more women on corporate boards. She also is a lecturer at the UW’s Foster School of Business in Go-To-Market Strategy.
Wright has an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Stanford University.
Wright connected with Even in early 2018 through an investor at Khosla Ventures.
Her addition now brings Even’s board to 6 total members which include Khosla Venture’s Keith Rabois, Valar Venture’s Andrew McCormack, Jon Schlossberg, Quinten Farmer, and Ryan Gomba.
