SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SWBC is pleased to announce the promotion of John Tuohy to Chief Executive Officer of SWBC Investment Services, LLC, a Broker/Dealer and SWBC Investment Company, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). In this role, Tuohy is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing the division’s strategic plan and all business development, sales, and marketing activities.

Tuohy joined SWBC in 2015 as one of the Managing Directors of Investment Services Capital Markets, helping establish the company’s first-ever fixed income trading desk. He has 18 years of experience in business development, sales, and investment/wealth management – 15 of those with Advisors Asset Management, ending his time with the company as Senior Vice President, leading a national sales team of more than 100 representatives.

Tuohy is a graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. He holds the Series 7, 63, 66, and 24 licenses. He has achieved the Million Dollar Producer designation 10 times.
