The studio located in Deer Park is owned and operated by Bette Anne and Tim Duffy, who also own studios in Evanston, Glenview and Lake Forest. “We are so proud to be part of the Deka Lash team and excited to grow this brand in the Chicago area,” says Bette Anne.
Deka Lash provides semi-permanent eyelash extensions featuring a unique in-studio experience, online booking and extended hours including weekend appointments. Deka Lash’s highly-trained and licensed lash artists take their time to ensure quality applications, individually designed to fit the client’s eye shape and lifestyle.
Their journey to becoming franchisees of this up-and-coming brand came from a love for concept. “I have been a fan of eyelash extensions for many years as I was a National Champion and World-ranked competitive Pro-Am ballroom dancer and I know that long, full lashes make a woman feel beautiful, confident and powerful,” says Bette Anne. She knew if lashes could make her feel like that while she was competing on the dancefloor, it was a great concept to share with women in everyday life. In addition, she also had an esteemed and impressive career in advertising with the agency of Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide. “As a career brand builder, I was instantly impressed with Deka Lash and the owners. Tim has recently retired from the prestigious international law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he was a partner. “If you had told me years ago that I would be talking about ladies’ eyelashes on a daily basis I would have thought you were crazy – but here I am,” says Tim. “I am proud to be partnering with my wife in this new career of ours and cannot think of a better brand to be working with.”
