LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hosted by Leiti Hsu of Word of Mouth, the 2nd Global Cuisine Awards were held on Thursday, December 6th, 2018 from 11am to 2pm at Vibiana, in Downtown Los Angeles. Chefs, restaurateurs, press and industry insiders gathered together to celebrate the best of the Los Angeles’ dining scene. The GCA Committee Chairman, Chef Neal Fraser, shared his excitement surrounding this event that provided the culinary industry an opportunity to connect and celebrate culinary excellence in his opening remarks. Presenters included Zach Brooks of Smorgasburg LA, Jayson Portman of sbe, Ben and Lisa Waters of L.A. Foodie, Devrin Jeck the Consul General of Malaysia, actor Matthew Knowles and award-winning actress Aurora Ouyang. Guests at the awards show enjoyed a special three course menu, crafted by Chef Neal Fraser. Entertainment included special performances by The Fresh Rhythm and famed Chinese magician Conan Liu. The La La Noodle sponsored event was presented by the American Food Association and Global Talents Media Group in partnership with Lansion Media and Chef Neal Fraser and represented by United Talent Agency.
