ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM today announced the results of an independent audit confirming a record-breaking CES Asia 2018 with attendance numbers reaching the highest in show history. Overall attendance at Asia’s premier tech event saw a 21 percent increase over 2017, setting a record of 46,748 attendees from 75 countries, regions and territories, including a record number of 1,439 media. Since its inception in 2015, CES Asia attendance has grown 63 percent. CES Asia 2019 will return to Shanghai, June 11-13, 2019.

CES Asia 2018 hosted 529 exhibitors from across the globe, up 14 percent from last year’s show. CES Asia 2018 also saw major growth with its show floor spanning 25,706 net square meters, a nearly 25 percent increase compared to CES Asia 2017. The 2019 event is on track for continued growth with new exhibit hall and major brands exhibiting, including 3M, Audio-Technica, Baidu DuerOS, Continental, Desay SV, Digital China, Dow, Fengxiu, Fossil/Misfit, Garmin, Hanergy, Huawei, Libratone, NavInfo, Neusoft, OtterBox, PICO, SF-Express, Skyworth, Sogou, Sonos, Suning, and Wacom.
The CES Asia 2019 call for speakers is now accepting conference proposal submissions through February 5, 2019. Registration for CES Asia 2019 will open in January 2019.
