YouThisMe Announces Remote Patient Monitoring Targeted for Seniors

New Multi-Patient Platform Designed for Senior Communities, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Facilities

HUDSON, N.Y.--()--YouThisMe, a mobile health technology company, today announced the launch of a new remote patient monitoring platform designed for use with multiple patients in clinical and non-hospital medical settings that serve seniors.

The UTM:RPM Multi-Patient software platform allows physicians, physician assistants, nurses and other caregivers to gather vitals data and status questions from multiple patients while making rounds in settings such as skilled nursing facilities, assisted-living facilities, and senior housing communities.

“The new Multi-Patient product has all of the features, functionality and HIPAA-compliant data security of our original UTM:RPM platform used by patients at home, under the remote supervision of a clinician – only now it has been enhanced to support multi-patient monitoring during room visits or medical examinations by clinicians,” said Seth Lachterman, partner and co-founder of YouThisMe. “We look forward to partnering with health care providers who are seeking simple, cost-efficient technology solutions to improve care coordination and reduce re-hospitalization rates.”

The UTM:RPM Multi-Patient platform is an app-based product compatible with certain tablet computers and handheld devices, such as iPads and iPhones, powered by iOS-based operating systems. Clinicians can enter patient data either manually or through Bluetooth-connected biometric devices such as digital blood pressure gauges and pulse oximeters.

“The UTM:RPM Multi-Patient platform has integrated seamlessly with our software and provides a simple way for a healthcare manager to efficiently interact with patients and gather vital health data,” said Kurt Lozier, co-founder of Somml Health, a collaborative software platform for sharing live patient data with clinical care teams and family members.
