National Black MBA Association® Partners to Award $1 Million in Scholarships

32 Students Awarded 2018 NBMBAA® Scholarships

ATLANTA--()--Dedicated to helping members pursue education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, the National Black MBA Association® is proud to announce $1 million in scholarships have been awarded to members on behalf of the Association’s corporate and collegiate partners in 2018. In service of this mission, the Association has partnered with top colleges and universities around the country to provide increased opportunities in the form of knowledge, resources, scholarships and more.

“The National Black MBA Association® congratulates these 32 deserving students and wishes them the best of luck as they prepare for the next chapter of their lives,” said Jesse Tyson, President and CEO of NBMBAA®. “Our scholarship program enables NBMBAA® to recognize and financially support the higher education of diverse students and help improve their lives.”

The Association’s Collegiate Partnership program brings real knowledge and resources, as well as exclusive opportunities, to its members, including: discounts on test preparation; scholarship opportunities; online trainings; admissions mentoring; and more. Diamond Partners within the program include top universities, such as Georgetown University, Ohio State and Georgia Tech. Platinum Partners include The University of Alabama, Georgia State University, University of Miami and more. The program was designed to identify and honor exceptionally able students and give them the opportunity to further their studies at a college or university. Chosen and administered by the Association and its partners, recipients include students and professionals from the following universities, colleges and corporations:

  • Georgetown University
  • John Deere
  • GE – Lloyd Trotter
