ALAMO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BETA Healthcare Group (BETA) announced today that John E. McClain, SHRM-SCP has been named Director of Human Resources. McClain will oversee all aspects of human resources, administration and facilities for BETA Healthcare Group and brings over 30 years of experience to the role. He will be replacing Deborah Verdream who is retiring after 12 years of service to BETA Healthcare Group. His first day will be December 3, 2018.

McClain most recently held the position of Human Resources Director at SAGE Veterinary Centers where he directed all aspects of HR and implemented initiatives and programs to increase efficiency, job satisfaction, retention and employee morale. Previously, he spent 23 years at NORCAL Mutual in San Francisco leading human resources and facilities, ending his tenure there as Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer.
