LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--3D Live, leaders in immersive 3D LED technology, brings its eye-popping “holographic” display system to the DreamWorks Trolls The Experience, now open in New York City, located at 218 West 57th Street.
DreamWorks Trolls The Experience is an immersive, first-of-a-kind experience that transports guests into the colorful, musical world of DreamWorks Trolls. 3D Live’s technology is featured during the dance-party finale, with Poppy’s Best Day Ever Celebration, featuring Poppy and other beloved characters and critters from the feature film, DreamWorks Trolls and the all-new Netflix series, DreamWorks Trolls: The Beat Goes On!
Guests will be immersed into the ultimate 3D dance party as they sing and dance alongside their favorite DreamWorks Trolls. Poppy, Branch, Guy Diamond, Biggie and DJ Suki are among the many characters that are projected in 3D inside the room, interacting with real-world physical elements and guests to create an effect that appears holographic, thanks to 3D Live’s innovative, LED-based technology.
To immerse guests into the vibrant and colorful world of the DreamWorks Trolls forest, 3D Live, in partnership with Feld Entertainment and Universal Brand Development, developed new content that takes full advantage of 3D Live’s proprietary 3D display technology. 3D Live also worked with NEC Display Solutions of America to create the unique LED panels that will be used in DreamWorks Trolls The Experience.
“Feld Entertainment and Universal Brand Development have been fantastic partners on this project, which is designed to gets kids moving and grooving with visuals that will amaze and delight audiences of all ages,” said Christian Dieckmann, chief strategy officer for L.A.-based 3D Live. “The combination of our next-generation displays with the DreamWorks Trolls characters make this an immersive experience that’s truly unlike any other.”
“DreamWorks Trolls The Experience brings to life the glitter-filled, musical world of Poppy, Branch and all of Troll Village in a live, fan-driven experience,” said Heather Oster, Vice President, Franchise, Universal Brand Development. “Guests will enter a visually stunning, playful adventure, filled with their favorite DreamWorks Trolls characters and music, shareable social media moments and interactive surprises around every corner.”
