AWIP Expands National Network, Launches New West Coast Chapter in Seattle

Official Chapter Kickoff with a Panel Discussion on Women Breaking the Glass Ceiling

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advancing Women in Product (AWIP), the organization empowering high-potential female product and tech leaders through equality of opportunity, is announcing the official launch of its new Seattle chapter.

“With 15 percent of current AWIP members based in Seattle, we are excited to officially launch this new chapter to continue our organization’s growth in one of the nation’s fastest growing tech hubs,” said Nancy Wang, CEO and co-founder of AWIP. “Our goal in Seattle is to help advance the skill set and careers of business-to-business and technical women PMs through seminars and workshops.”

To commemorate the launch of the Seattle chapter, AWIP will host a panel discussion entitled “Expanding Your Sphere of Influence: How to Grow as a Thought Leader.” The panel will discuss ways to advance your personal sphere of influence and brand to become a thought leader as a woman in product and engineering.
