Paul H. Barry and Faisel Hussein join as New York-based Managing Directors and will co-lead the practice.

Mr. Barry brings over 30 years of strategic, financial, and operations experience specializing in the energy, industrial, media, and mining industries. His expertise includes the development and execution of global growth initiatives. He has led over $100 billion of landmark strategic transformations and corporate M&A.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Barry served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Public Infrastructure Partners LLC (PIP), where he led the company’s operating platform of highly experienced industry executives with expertise in M&A, operations, and maximizing investor returns. PIP’s partners and clients included leading corporations and private equity, infrastructure, and pension funds in North America and Europe.
Mr. Barry previously served as a senior executive for a number of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies in various strategic, finance, and operational roles including Duke Energy, GE, CBS (Westinghouse), and Kinross Gold.

Mr. Hussein brings 20 years of strategic and financial expertise specializing in the technology, media, telecommunications (TMT), mining, healthcare, and energy industries. His expertise includes valuation analysis, transaction structuring, and M&A execution. He has completed over $50 billion in complex public and private corporate transactions including cross-border M&A and long-term strategy formulation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hussein served as Chief Development Officer and co-founder of PIP, where he was responsible for global client advisory and led M&A execution to create value across growth, distressed, and undercapitalized opportunities.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Hussein was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup and RBC Capital Markets. While at RBC, he co-founded the Los Angeles investment banking office, expanded the firm’s global footprint, and completed several multi-billion dollar cross-border M&A transactions. Mr. Hussein has also advised public sector, municipal and government entities on M&A and strategy.
