DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zimperium, a global leader in mobile threat defense (MTD), today announced it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to help organizations identify and defend against the world of increasingly sophisticated mobile cyber threats.
As a member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association, Zimperium will collaborate with Microsoft and more than 500 other vendors in the Association to create solutions to the biggest security issues impacting today’s organizations, including identity and access management, threat protection, information protection and security management.
Zimperium’s on-device, machine learning-based detection technology protects mobile devices and data at machine speed, without the delays and limitations of cloud-based detection. The company’s patented machine learning technology has detected every mobile exploit over the last five years, on-device and without requiring updates.
Zimperium currently offers mobile support for customers using Microsoft Azure. Zimperium also provides mobile threat protection via its integrated solution with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft’s cloud-based service that provides management of mobile devices, applications and other devices throughout an enterprise while keeping corporate data protected. Organizations using Intune can control mobile device access to corporate resources using conditional access based on risk assessment conducted by Zimperium. Risk is based on telemetry which is collected from devices running Zimperium’s on-device mobile app.
“We’re thrilled to join this group of industry leaders in their fight to protect organizations worldwide against cybercrime and mobile threats, which continue to increase in number, severity and complexity,” said Michael Callahan, Chief Marketing Officer, Zimperium. “We’re proud to be part of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association and are excited to collaborate with other members to improve industry-wide cybersecurity initiatives.”
Ryan McGee, Director, Microsoft Security Marketing at Microsoft Corp. said, “As employees and organizations worldwide increasingly rely on mobile devices to carry out both their personal and professional lives, mobile security has proven to be a critical enterprise issue. We’re pleased to have Zimperium on board as part of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to drive greater mobile security innovation for customers.”
