(“ZGSI” or the “Company”) (Pink Sheets: ZGSI), an agricultural biotechnology public company commercializing its technology derived from and designed for Space with significant applications for agriculture on Earth, has announced that its BAM Agricultural Solutions’ Strategic Avocado Advisor, Bob Schaar, has been appointed to the USDA Hass Avocado Board (HAB) for a three-year term.
The Hass Avocado Board is the national board for Nutritional Research and Promotion (R&P Program) of all avocado imports sold into the United States and plays an important role in developing markets and uses for a projected volume of more than 2.4 billion avocados in the U.S. marketplace. Board members and alternates are nominated by their industry peers and appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture.
Mr. Schaar, a prominent avocado grower in Fallbrook, CA, is also on the Board of the California Avocado Commission.
