RAS AL KHAIMAH, United Arab Emirates--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK) hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official Grand Opening of the RAKBANK Building, which currently houses AURAK’s School of Business and the Office of Academic Support Services. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, United Arab Emirates Supreme Council Member and Ruler of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah; AURAK administration including AURAK President, Professor Hassan Hamdan Al Alkim, the Vice President of Student Success and Academic Affairs and Provost, Professor Stephen Wilhite, and other top representatives; RAKBANK administration including the bank’s chairman, Mr. Mohammed Omran Al Shamsi, bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Peter England, and other top representatives; and representatives from Al Nuami Group, all contributing institutions to the construction of the new facility. Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, top representatives from each party, and honored guests toured the new building and discussed its future potential.
