TAMPA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--In a move to solidify its aggressive growth strategy focused on cloud and solutions innovation, CCG Analytics (CCG) has named technology entrepreneur Tony DiBenedetto Chair of its Board of Directors. CCG will leverage DiBenedetto’s experience at the helm of technology company Tribridge to complete its shift to a solutions-based business model that places advanced data analytics at the center of digital transformation.
“CCG has all of the elements of a great company – solid leadership, talented team members and a business philosophy that puts people first,” said DiBenedetto. “Like other parts of the IT sector, data analytics customers want packaged solutions they can easily scale. There is no better company in the space than CCG to provide what has been missing in the landscape: the ability to turn data into true actionable business insights. I’m excited and honored to be part of the growth story.”
CCG, which historically has provided data management, consulting and customized business intelligence services, has developed industry-specific cloud solutions built on the Microsoft Azure platform that will enable accelerated deployments to support a multitude of analytics scenarios, from big data and real-time data integration to machine learning and artificial intelligence. The company is slated to launch its first product for the retail vertical in early 2019. Additional solutions for the financial services, education and healthcare industries are currently in development.
“Organizations in high-growth industries want to take full advantage of advanced data analytics to acquire, grow and retain their customers and stakeholders, but that requires both business and infrastructure agility. The cloud plays a central role in how we help our customers realize these benefits, and platforms like Microsoft Azure provide the flexibility, speed and ROI unmatched by traditional on-premise solutions,” said Dan Phelps, CEO and co-founder of CCG.
CCG, with more than 100 employees throughout the Southeast, will look to hire an additional 50 software developers, architects and consultants over the next 12 months to support its revenue goal of $35 million by 2020. With the guidance of experienced tech entrepreneurs like Tony DiBenedetto, the company plans to expand its geographic footprint, with a focus on markets with high demand for data analytics, including Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Washington, D.C.
“We are fortunate to attract veteran entrepreneur and advisor Tony DiBenedetto to our Board of Directors to help achieve our strategic vision of being a leader in advanced data analytics,” said Phelps. “Tony successfully grew Tribridge to $175 million in revenue by responding quickly to market demand and transforming the company into a cloud and industry solutions powerhouse, particularly in the Microsoft channel. We look forward to his expertise, insights and passion as we expand to meet the growing business insights needs of our customers.”
