CARDFREE Launches Pay at Table Service via Consumer Mobile Device

New product enables restaurants to deploy pay at table without any new hardware investment

SAN FRANCISCO--()--CARDFREE, the leading mobile wallet provider to large merchants, announced today at Groceryshop that it has launched the easiest to deploy pay at table service in market today. CARDFREE’s new service does not require investment in new hardware and has already been pre-integrated with 90 percent of restaurant POS systems. Consumers simply use their mobile devices to launch the restaurant app or mobile web page where they can view and pay their checks. Average deployment times range between two to four weeks.

Since launching in 2012, CARDFREE has become the leading mobile wallet platform to QSRs and has expanded into casual dining as well as other high-volume merchant segments such as fuel and convenience. CARDFREE services have evolved to accommodate growing restaurant needs including order-ahead, catering, delivery, mobile wait lists and now pay at table.

Restaurants do not need a mobile application or specific hardware to launch this service but it can be used in conjunction with existing hardware. CARDFREE pay at table can be integrated into existing apps or offered as a stand-alone service. This service can also be integrated with full mobile wallet services, including order ahead, offers and loyalty.
