NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Integrity Square, (www.integritysq.com), the leading boutique advisory firm serving the Health, Active Lifestyle & Outdoors (HALO) sector, has partnered with the FDNY Foundation to host a city-wide FDNY Fitness Fundraiser to fulfill a wish list of 400 pieces of new & refurbished fitness equipment. Although the job of a firefighter requires peak physical shape, there is a need for fitness equipment at NYC firehouses throughout the five boroughs. On November 10 & 17, Integrity Square is bringing together the NYC fitness community to host donation-based fitness classes, with all proceeds going towards the FDNY Foundation.
“Integrity Square has had the honor of working closely with the FDNY, having participated in two team building events as part of our HALO Academy leadership series. We have seen what it takes to become a firefighter and the daily pressures of each emergency situation,” said Pete Moore, the Managing Partner of Integrity Square. “Having inquired about how we can help the FDNY after our last event, we learned that most firehouses need fitness equipment. We were surprised to learn about this situation and this upcoming initiative is a solution to the problem. The HALO community is rising to the occasion to support our friends at the FDNY.”
New Yorkers can sweat for the cause on Saturdays: November 10 and 17 at gyms and boutique fitness studios throughout NYC. Crunch Fitness, the HALO FDNY Fitness Fundraiser headlining partner, will be hosting 2-hour Group Ride classes, with NYC’s top instructors, for a minimum donation of $25, on Nov. 10 at Crunch Bowery from 11:30am - 1:30pm and on Nov. 17 at Crunch Ft. Greene from 10am - 12pm. Other NYC Crunch locations will be hosting HALO FDNY Fitness Fundraiser Days on both Saturdays including appearances by FDNY firefighters, juices from Pure Green and giveaways. In addition to the in-gym fundraising initiatives, Crunch Fitness will also be donating refurbished treadmills to the FDNY Foundation and offering a special membership for the FDNY.
In addition to Crunch Fitness, boutique fitness studios throughout NYC will be hosting charity classes on Nov. 10 and 17, including Xtend Barre, Switch Playground, Higher DOSE, Retro Fitness, Lyons Den Power Yoga, Tone House, and more.
