CINCINNATI--()--David Ellis, III, managing director of The Ellis Group, a branch of UBS Financial Services Inc., has been recognized by Forbes as one of the top wealth advisors in the United States, landing on their 2018 Top Wealth Advisors List for the third year in a row. This is Ellis’ second Forbes honor this year, as he was ranked #2 on the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor List in February. He also received Top Financial Advisor honors from both Barron’s and Financial Times.

“It’s a great pleasure to be recognized among this country’s leading advisors for our team’s commitment to providing our clients with the highest level of service, understanding and guidance when it comes to their financial needs and futures,” said Ellis. “We strive to provide transparency, strong governance and trust. This award reflects that.”

The Forbes Top Wealth Advisors ranking is comprised of the country’s top 250 star advisors who manage over $733 billion in client assets. Ellis is one of just seven wealth advisors from Ohio on the list.

Each advisor was nominated by their respective firm, then vetted and ranked by SHOOK Research. Of the more than 25,000 nominations Forbes/SHOOK received, they proceeded with only 1,500 in-person interviews, and ultimately narrowed the list to the top 250 advisors based on industry experience, compliance records, revenue produced and assets under management.

The Ellis Group, a branch of UBS Financial Services Inc., serves high net worth clients, managing over $1.5 billion in client assets. The team’s focus centers on offering clients the understanding, financial expertise and transparency. Utilizing personalized planning and investing, The Ellis Group guides its clients through their personal and professional wealth challenges, providing advice that gives them clarity and peace of mind and serves their best interests today and in the future.
