NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Victor Insurance Holdings, a leading managing general underwriter, today announced the appointment of Eric Solash as Global Head of Capital Markets.
In this newly created role, Mr. Solash is responsible for advancing Victor’s capital markets strategies globally across all classes of property/casualty insurance.
Mr. Solash brings more than 20 years of capital markets, alternative funding, and insurance investment banking experience to Victor. He previously served as Managing Director and Head of Alternative Funding at General Electric Company with responsibility for funding GE’s global infrastructure projects in power, renewable energy, and health care developments. Prior to GE, he led the insurance investment banking team at Freeman & Co. Mr. Solash has also been involved with establishing a private wealth life insurance managing general agency and separately with new technology start-ups. He has been working with Victor on a consulting basis since January.
Mr. Solash is based in New York and reports to Christopher Schaper, CEO of Victor.
