Real Estate Disruptor Haus Appoints Jonathan McNulty As CEO, Launches New Platform

Former Trulia & Zillow Group Executive Partners With Uber Co-Founder to Disrupt Real Estate With New, Free Technology Platform

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Today, Haus, a technology company providing an entirely new way for home buyers and sellers to navigate the real estate process, announced that it has appointed Jonathan McNulty as its new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume day-to-day leadership of the company. Additionally, the company announced the launch of its new, free consumer real estate platform.

"As we considered the best person to lead Haus, we knew someone with deep experience and passion for real estate was imperative, and found Jonathan’s background and vision a perfect fit for the role,” said Garrett Camp, Co-Founder of Uber and Founder of Expa. “Jonathan is a strategic, customer focused leader with a proven track record of leading teams to deliver consumer products at scale, and I’m excited for him to take the helm at Haus.”

Haus’ new platform enables home buyers and sellers to navigate the real estate process on their own, entirely for free. The platform includes:

  • A guided experience. Step-by-step custom plan walks sellers through preparing and creating their listing, determining list price, and all necessary paperwork.
  • Broad exposure. Distribution to MLS, Trulia, Zillow and all major search sites so listings can be discovered by the most qualified buyers.
  • Connect with services. Schedule home staging, photography, inspections and repairs to maximize success.
  • Complete transaction management. Receive, manage and compare offers, select a winning offer, and Haus guides customers through the entire purchase, escrow and closing process.

Jonathan, a consumer and real estate market veteran, served as Vice President of Product, Growth and Design at Trulia where he led the teams through its $3.5 billion acquisition to Zillow Group. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Art.com where he lead the team through a business, technology and brand relaunch.

“Consumers are frustrated by the complexity of real estate transactions and confounded by the high price tags. Haus gives them back control and simplifies the process, all at no cost. From my experience as a real estate agent to my time as a leader at Trulia, I’ve believed the home buying and selling process was expensive, inefficient and needed to be fixed,” said Jonathan McNulty, CEO of Haus. “Garrett disrupted transportation with Uber, and he’s now transforming the future of another market with Haus. To have the opportunity to work with him, lead the team and take this industry on with a new, free platform was an experience I simply had to be part of.”

Haus is available today in California and will expand to other states soon. www.haus.com
