Dominguez, Chairwoman, The Dominguez Dream and Chairwoman and Chief Executive Officer of the Vanir Group of Companies, attended the Comcast Veteran Digital Inclusion Reception held in Washington, DC. This exclusive reception was hosted by David L. Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer, Comcast Corporation, who announced the expansion of their Internet Essentials program to include low-income veterans. Special guests included Senator Elizabeth Dole (ret.), U.S. Olympic Gold Medalists Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson, Monique Lamoureux-Morando and other Olympiads.
Internet Essentials from Comcast is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive high speed internet adoption program for low-income families. Since 2011, Internet Essentials has connected more than six million Americans to low-cost, high-speed internet at home and now the program has been extended to include veterans.
Comcast and The Dominguez Dream have shared values in giving back and making a difference in low-income communities by funding programs and providing access to technology.
