CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, the Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM), the global leader in supply chain organizational transformation, innovation and leadership, announced a new global alliance network aimed at propelling supply chain forward and transforming how organizations do business.

The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) is the largest professional body serving the procurement and supply profession. CIPS will work with ASCM to enhance educational standards for individuals and organizations alongside improving workforce development, and benchmarking within procurement.
