TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UACJ Corporation (TOKYO:5741)(headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan; representative director and president: Miyuki Ishihara) will exhibit at ALUMINIUM 2018, one of the largest aluminum industry exhibitions in the world. The exhibition will be held from October 9 through October 11 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
UACJ first exhibited at the biennial ALUMINIUM, which is holding its 12th exhibition in 2018, in 2010. The previous exhibition, ALUMINIUM 2016, attracted 992 corporate participants, including four Japanese companies, and 24,373 visitors. More than 27,500 people from more than 50 countries are predicted to attend the 2018 exhibition, in which about 1,000 companies will exhibit, including UACJ and three others from Japan.
UACJ will display aluminum products with high added value at its booth. These products will include aluminum for automotive panels, demand for which is spreading throughout the world, automotive heat exchanger materials, which are expanding globally, and compressor wheels that boast one of the highest market shares in the world. UACJ owns UACJ ELVAL HEAT EXCHANGER MATERIALS GmbH, which sells automotive heat exchanger materials to customers in Europe, and UACJ Extrusion Czech s.r.o., which manufactures and sells extruded aluminum products for automotive heat exchangers.
Through participation in this exhibition, UACJ aims to increase recognition for its products in the global market and provide logistical support for sales.
