MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Coors Light is proud to announce Cristina Rodríguez as the winner of the 2018 Coors Light Líder of the Year. For 12 years, the Coors Light Líderes program has honored the importance of leadership in the Latino community and helped emerging Latino leaders reach their potential.
This national recognition, decided by an online public voting competition, includes a $25,000 grant from Coors Light for Rodríguez to implement a Latino leadership project for Mind&Melody, Inc., a nonprofit with the mission of transforming lives by implementing novel programs that inspire love of music and community. Rodríguez is among 12 outstanding Latino leaders nominated by nonprofit organizations for their leadership, achievements and lasting impact in their community. She was nominated by Mind&Melody, Inc. where she serves as President & Co-Founder.

After 12 finalists are chosen by an expert panel, the winner is selected through an online voting competition supported by a national advertising campaign and robust community outreach. The Coors Light Líderes program offers up-and-coming Latino professionals with leadership tools, resources and networking opportunities. Past Líderes of the Year have developed leadership programs in education, entrepreneurship, professional development, technology and the arts.
