BOSTON & LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OutSystems, provider of the number one platform for low-code rapid application development, today announced a series of moves to leverage its longstanding partnership with Deloitte. The low-code leader extended its collaboration with Deloitte into the U.K. and Sweden, and announced that Deloitte will serve as a global sponsor at three OutSystems conferences this fall.
OutSystems and Deloitte Portugal have been co-delivering exceptional IT solutions since 2010 and officially became alliance partners in 2016. Deloitte Portugal currently employs 80 OutSystems-certified professionals, and together the two companies have co-delivered solutions for the government, retail, consumer food and beverage, insurance, and transportation and logistics sectors.
OutSystems has existing alliances in place with Deloitte covering Australia, Saudi Arabia, and Portugal, where Deloitte has an OutSystems Center of Excellence. Today’s announcement further strengthens the company’s presence across western Europe with the addition of the U.K. and Sweden.
“The addition of these member firms further solidifies the strong, synergistic relationship OutSystems and Deloitte have developed over the years,” said Bob Wilson, vice president of worldwide channel sales and strategic alliances at OutSystems. “Deloitte’s broad vision into an organization’s entire business helps the company identify enterprises that are ripe for digital transformation and the benefits that a low-code, visual development platform like OutSystems can offer.”
“Our customers trust Deloitte to provide business recommendations and expertise that are going to innovate and develop companies and ultimately bring more value to the business,” said Rui Vaz, Deloitte Portugal, Partner of Consulting in Technology.
“With OutSystems, we can make recommendations to our customers who are looking to update legacy systems. Projects that range from quick modernizations that meet short-term goals to full-scale core systems replacements take a fraction of the time compared to employing traditional development methods. In both instances, the customer is happy with the project scope and the end results, and that builds trust both for Deloitte and for OutSystems.”
OutSystems also announced today that Deloitte is returning as an official global sponsor of OutSystems 2018 NextStep and Worldwide Developer Conferences. OutSystems NextStep 2018 is the premier event for digital transformation and low-code application development. The OutSystems Worldwide Developer Conference is a global showcase for developers of low-code applications in a variety of disciplines including IoT, machine learning, and AI.
This year’s NextStep conferences take place in Boston on September 25-27 at the Renaissance Waterfront Hotel and in Amsterdam on October 8-9 at the historic Taets Art and Event Park. The OutSystems Worldwide Developer Conference takes place on November 6-7 at the Estoril Congress Center in Lisbon.
César Marto, Deloitte Portugal’s Associate Partner in Technology sector, will deliver keynote addresses in Boston and Amsterdam, focusing on the future of coding. Marto is responsible for digital offer development for customers in the retail, consumer goods, transportation, and energy sectors at Deloitte Portugal. He has over 16 years of experience in managing technology projects and participated in key projects in technology strategy, digital transformation, information management, and analytics and systems integration areas.
