MIAMI--()--Carisk Partners (formerly Concordia Care, Inc.) a specialty risk transfer, care coordination company, is thrilled to announce that Alana Letourneau, M.D., MBA, Vice President of Clinical Strategy, was selected for the 2018 NJBIZ Forty Under 40 Awards honoring young professionals under the age of 40 for their success and demonstration of strong leadership both within and outside of their chosen field. In her role at Carisk Partners, Dr. Letourneau oversees the Quality Team, which uses data analytics, evidence-based guidelines, research and technology to define quality clinical practices.

Among her current projects, Dr. Letourneau is developing a risk tool for early identification and intervention of both worker’s compensation and behavioral health populations, using machine learning and artificial intelligence. She also supports business development activities, industry partner relationship building, and state government bidding processes. She is a regular presenter for Carisk Partners, and participated at the NJBIZ Opioid Panel, Florida RIMS Educational Conference, and the Advanced Medical Strategies Claims Symposium.

Dr. Letourneau earned her Medical Degree (MD) at New York University School of Medicine, where she was named a Raymond Brienza Scholar, Health Disparities Research Fellow, and Department of Medicine Awardee in Healthcare Dilemmas. Concurrently, she earned an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, where she specialized in the Management of Technology and Operations with a focus in data analytics. She was the recipient of the Armando John Garville Scholarship and named to the Dean’s List.

Dr. Letourneau holds a BA from Princeton University where she majored in Psychology, concentrated in Neuroscience and minored in Global Health and Health Policy. She graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the George A. Miller Cognitive Science Prize, Global Health Senior Thesis Prize, Henry Luce Scholarship and Scheide Scholarship.
