Proliance Surgeons Appoints Charles A. Peterson II, MD Interim CEO

National Search for CEO Conducted by Korn Ferry

SEATTLE--()--Proliance Surgeons, Inc., one of the largest surgical practices in the country, announced today that Charles A. Peterson II, MD has been named interim Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Peterson is the current President of Proliance Surgeons. He has been a company Director since 2004, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2014.

Proliance has initiated a rigorous and comprehensive process for appointing our next CEO, said Dr. Peterson. “We are seeking an experienced, visionary leader who can combine the organization’s unique strategic position as one of the leading surgical practices in the country with cutting-edge, value-based health care delivery practices.”

While the search is underway, Proliance’s leadership team will remain active in day-to-day administration. As a physician-owned-and-managed company, the team leverages the skills of seasoned professional corporate officers, including: Ken Overbey (Chief Operating Officer), Alex Gross (Chief Financial Officer), Laura Kleisle (Chief Risk Officer) and Curt Kwak (Chief Information Technology Officer). This year, the organization established two new ambulatory surgery centers and expanded its medical team with 12 new physicians, nine physician assistants, six new physical therapists and occupational therapists, four audiologists, a nurse midwife and an advanced registered nurse practitioner.

The CEO position is based in Seattle, Washington, one of the most dynamic cities in the United States. Washington State has an excellent and established health-care infrastructure. US News and World Report recently ranked Seattle in the top ten Best Places to Live.
