WUXI, China--(BUSINESS WIRE)--On September 5th, 2018, Data Content-Centric Internet Lab (CCIL) was officially established by Quantum Cloud Inc. (QCI) and school of digital media of Jiangnan University (JU). President of JU hosted the plaque unveiling ceremony of the laboratory.
“The Content-centric Internet Lab is an extension of cutting-edge content-centric networking technology in media and entertainment industry," said Fu Li, the president of Quantum Cloud and the director of the CCIL. “After several years in research regarding named-data networking, I am pleased to apply the academic advancement in networking architecture to solve real problems, such as 4K media data transfer, distribution and processing.” Content-centric networking or named-data networking is the next-generation networking architecture, which is designed to perpetually overcome network traffic jam in big data era.
CCIL focuses on different fields such as huge media file distribution, digital content encryption, video content processing and AI-based technology in content industry.
