ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Trellis Rx, a leading technology-enabled service provider focused on helping health systems change the way patients experience specialty medication therapy, announced it has hired Jerry Buller as Chief Pharmacy Officer and Brandon Newman as Vice President of Clinical Affairs. Both positions will work closely with Trellis Rx’s health system clients to develop and grow their specialty pharmacy management programs.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Buller joins Trellis Rx from Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he served as Executive Director, Vanderbilt Health Rx Solutions. While at Vanderbilt, Buller was responsible for developing and growing the organization’s specialty pharmacy program resulting in more than $300 million in revenue in less than seven years. In his new role as Trellis Rx’s Chief Pharmacy Officer, he will be responsible for ongoing client-based activities including the operational, clinical, and financial performance of each of the company’s customer programs.
Newman also comes from Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he most recently served as the Program Director of the Vanderbilt Specialty Pharmacy. As Vice President of Clinical Affairs at Trellis Rx, Newman will be responsible for the development of best-in-class ambulatory clinical programs and will also oversee the Trellis Rx Advance Team, the frontline team responsible for launching customers nationally and delivering outstanding clinical and operational results within a short period of time.
