HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Following an extensive search, Landmark Health (“Landmark”), an industry leader of in-home, risk-based medical care, announced today that Brandon Kerns has been hired as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective August 13, 2018.
Brandon brings significant financial and healthcare investment experience to the role, most recently serving as Vice President at General Atlantic, a global growth equity firm, where he focused on making investments in the healthcare services and technology sectors.
“What is particularly exciting is that Brandon is joining us from General Atlantic, Landmark’s investment partner, where he evaluated hundreds of healthcare companies and was so convicted in our innovative model that he decided to join us,” states Chris Goldsmith, President of Landmark. “With his background, he brings deep market knowledge and will be a key addition to our executive team.”
“I’m thrilled to join a high-caliber team at Landmark that is pushing the boundaries of true, value-based health care,” said Brandon Kerns. “I look forward to helping Landmark further execute on its mission and serve many more patients and their families across the country.”
Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2010, Brandon was an investment banker at Morgan Stanley, also within the healthcare sector. Brandon received his Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Brandon joins Landmark in a period of tremendous growth. This year, the Company has entered seven new states and is bringing in-home medical care to thousands of complex patients in communities across the country. Beyond growth, Landmark continues to prove strong outcomes with improved mortality rates for engaged patients, and a net promoter score of 90, which is a strong testament to the satisfaction of the care Landmark patients receive.
