Through this partnership, RCN will utilize Triton’s robust audio streaming network to deliver a high-quality listening experience across their 169 stations. In addition, they will use Triton’s highly-flexible ad server, Tap, to dynamically insert targeted audio ads into their online streams, resulting in a more engaging and personalized experience for their listeners, and a higher return for their advertisers.
To support their monetization goals, RCN will make their online audio inventory available in Triton’s global programmatic marketplace, a2x®, which will enable media buyers across LATAM and other parts of the world to reach their engaged listening audience through non-skippable, at-scale buys for the first time. RCN will manage their inventory within the exchange using Triton’s audio SSP, Yield-Op, to control access to their inventory, pricing, ad quality settings, and the configuration of open and private deals with specific buyers, brands, or sales houses.
