Festivities will kick off with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Alameda’s mayor Trish Spencer at 9:00 a.m. on the Bay Ship & Yacht property located at 2900 Main Street in Alameda.
The newly formed Svendsen’s Marine & Industrial Supply is the result of a recent merger between Bay Industrial Supply and Svendsen’s Marine. The new location includes both marine and industrial supply products, a much larger warehouse with waterfront access, and a vastly increased product selection. The new facility has supplies for boats from the smallest dinghies all the way up to the ferries and tugs plying the Bay.
