MEMPHIS, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Barnhart Crane and Rigging Co. and Selinsky Force, of Canton, Ohio, have entered into an agreement under which Barnhart will purchase Selinsky’s crane and rigging operations, including all associated personnel and equipment of that business unit.
Selinsky Force is an established and well-regarded company and will retain and continue to operate all of its core industrial services as it has for decades. Selinsky Force provides a wide range of services including refractory, equipment rental, plant maintenance, steel erection, and pulverizer services.
The rigging operation sold to Barnhart offers crane service of up to 275-ton capacity, hydraulic gantries and sliding equipment, lift trucks of up to 100,000-lb. capacity, and trucking services including hydraulic transporters. Barnhart will acquire Selinsky’s rigging, hauling and crane assets and personnel related to that business unit. The acquisition will further enhance Barnhart’s presence in the Midwest, where Barnhart already operates a number of branches in Kentucky and Illinois.
