David Spalding Joins Kingland Board of Directors

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa--()--To support continued growth and strategic direction, the Board of Directors of Kingland announced the appointment of David Spalding as the newest Director to the company's Board. Mr. Spalding is currently the Raisbeck Endowed Dean of the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University.

In addition to leading Iowa State's Ivy College of Business, Mr. Spalding had a strong career in capital markets, one of Kingland's core industries. Mr. Spalding had a 29-year career in finance, working with The Chase Manhattan Bank, GE Capital Corporate Finance Group, Lehman Brothers, and co-founding and co-managing private equity firm The Cypress Group LLC. Prior to Iowa State, Mr. Spalding also served as senior vice president and senior advisor to the president at Dartmouth.

Over the years, he has served on the boards of several corporations and nonprofit organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Iowa. He received a Bachelor of Arts in history, cum laude, from Dartmouth and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University.
