Physicians’ Education Resource® Presents the 2018 New York Advanced Practice Collaborative

Leading experts in primary care will gather to discuss strategies to improve the patient-provider relationship

CRANBURY, N.J.--()--Physicians’ Education Resource®, LLC (PER®), announces the 2018 New York Advanced Practice Collaborative to be held on September 15, 2018, at the Westin New York Grand Central in New York City. The conference will be co-chaired by Lawrence Herman, MPA, PA-C, DFAAPA, adjunct professor and associate program director, Physician Assistant Studies, School of Medicine, University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas; and Wendy L. Wright, MS, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN, FNAP, adult/family nurse practitioner and owner, Wright & Associates Family Healthcare, Concord and Amherst, New Hampshire.

“We are thrilled to host this meeting to provide primary care professionals with the information that they need to enhance patient care,” said Dave Heckard, president of PER®. “Our expert faculty will provide key insights and best practices on disease states, as well as discuss new agents that are available to treat conditions that are commonly seen in the primary care environment.”

The 2018 New York Advanced Practice Collaborative is a one-day meeting that will provide attendees with 6 one-hour sessions addressing common, but challenging, therapeutic areas. Faculty will share evidence-based guidelines and recent clinical study results that affect clinical decision making. Attendees will also gain knowledge on ways to implement diagnostic and treatment strategies for common conditions encountered in primary care settings as well as how to develop methods to enhance relationships between providers and their patients.
