Burlywood earned U.S. Patent No. 9703631 for storage emulation in a storage controller and U.S. Patent No. 9997251 for media defect management method for storage systems requiring an integrated controller. These designations recognize the company’s pioneering methods of managing high defect and high error rate in media designed to improve the efficiency of flash storage.
