(NASDAQ: MGTA), a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing novel medicines to bring the curative power of bone marrow transplant to more patients, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 6,666,667 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $15.00 per share. The gross proceeds from this offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses, are approximately $100,000,000. In addition, the underwriters have a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,000,000 additional shares of common stock at the initial public offering price less underwriting discounts and commissions. Magenta Therapeutics’ common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on June 21, 2018 under the symbol “MGTA.”
